ifilm to air ‘Injury’ series

ifilm has set to air new series ‘Injury’ starting from Friday evening.

Directed by Mohammad-Mehdi Asgarpour, the drama series will hit your TV screens every evening at 18:00 GMT starting from Friday August 9. Each episode will also repeat the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00 all GMT times.

The new addition is comprised of 21 episodes which unravel the dark feelings and repressed emotions that will surface to drive away the members of a family.

‘Injury’ has a number of subplots that will make up its whole story. The prevailing of which is the one that shows how a terrible revelation triggers all the miseries to follow. An unexpected pregnancy reveals that the young couple at the center of the story cannot have healthy children. The prospect of no grandchildren and the fact that the marriage has not officially been registered yet proves too much to bear for the elders of the family, leading to discord and some tough decisions on all sides.

Sorayya Qasemi, Amin Tarokh, Mahvash Sabrkon, Ateneh Faqih-Nasiri, Hasti Mahdavifar and Ramin Rastad are the some of the series stars.

‘Injury’ will be replacing ‘Mankind’s Land’ directed by Abolhassan Davoudi.
